31 – 35-inches. 125cc. 14 – 16-years. 5ft 2-inches. To. 5ft 8-inches. 35 – 38-inches. 125cc – 250cc. These guidelines should help you to find the right size dirt bike for your kid, but you also need to take into account the boldness and personality of your child, especially when choosing the engine size of the bike.
For example, to determine the CC for a bike with a bore of 78mm and a stroke of 78mm, and two engine cylinders, use the following steps. Multiply the bore by itself, then by the stroke, then by 3.141593. 78 by 78 by 78 by 3.141593 = 1490849.241336. Divide the above result by the number of engine cylinders.

Most scooters will be 50cc, 75cc, 100cc, 125cc or 150cc. The most powerful scooters might be up to 750cc. Popular 50cc scooters include the Piaggio Zip, Vespa Primavera and Aprilia SXR 50; 125cc scooters include the Vespa GTS Super 125 Euro 5, 125cc Milan Scooter and Piaggio Liberty 125 ABS.

Then for others, it’s all about wheel size. A scooter has small 12″ wheels, just like the majority of Vespas, almost all 50cc moped and the majority of 125cc machines. Maxi scooters have larger wheels, often 15″ or 16″. This theory works, until you look at the likes of Honda’s SH125, which has 16″ wheels but a 125cc engine.

However, a moped has pedals, while most modern scooters don’t. The Motorcycle Legal Foundation points out another key difference between the three involving wheel size. Any bike with wheels measuring over 16 inches is considered a motorcycle. Mopeds and scooters can have wheels measuring anywhere from 10 to 16 inches.
The easiest way for non-riders to tell the Zuma difference is to look at the shocks. Single for the 50 and dual for the 125. For the rest, just look at the speedo's top end. 30-40 tends to be average for a 50, with a few exceptions. You almost need a scooter guidebook for these things, and I have had four of them! #14.
In looking at the average engine displacements across Lance, Vespa, Honda, and Genuine, the average published engine displacement is 49.7. Round that number up, and we’re talking a 50cc. None are lower than 49.5, so they all get the perk of rounding up. The 49/50cc is displacing the same amount of air and fuel for scooting around. QfpK.
