I've never been to lake como but lake garda was beautiful, especially around limone sul garda all the way through torbole sul garda. Lake Garda is so under rated (with American tourists atleast) and completely gorgeous. Stayed in Torbole last year in Hotel Lago Di Garda and had an amazing time.
